Skin Grafts units can be of various thicknesses; from ultra thin 'disposable' units to more durable skin grafts. To make it sample, we define them as;

- Tissue thin disposable
- Thin skin
- Medium thin
- Medium

The the thicker the skin, the more hair density can be increased. i.e. a thin skin cannot have a thick density.

There are 3 primary types of lace to construct your hairpiece.

French Lace - is the most common lace used. Life expectancy of 3-9 months.

Swiss Lace - is the softest and most delicate of the laces. Very fragile. Life expectancy of 3-6 months.

Fine Welded Lace - aka EZON, this lace is the most durable. It is stiffer than french or swiss lace and might irritate sensitive scalps. Life expectancy of 12 months.

Lace bases can be attached in several ways;

Full Head Bond - using adhesives like Eurp Bond and Dermatex, 1+ coats are applied to the entire head. Clean with Matrix Lace Cleaner, Rapid Release or a citrus-based solvent remover.

Tape - either Bonding Tape (Walker No Shine, Super Tape or Euro Flex) can be applied around the perimeter for a 7+ day secure attachment. Clean with Lace Release.
