Lace bases can be constructed of french, swiss or fine welded lace. They are ideal for thin densities as the scalp can be seen for a realistic look.

All of the knots can be bleached to lighten the color of the knot to create a knot-less look.

There are 3 primary types of lace to construct your hairpiece.

French Lace - is the most common lace used. Life expectancy of 3-9 months.

Swiss Lace - is the softest and most delicate of the laces. Very fragile. Life expectancy of 3-6 months.

Fine Welded Lace - aka EZON, this lace is the most durable. It is stiffer than french or swiss lace and might irritate sensitive scalps. Life expectancy of 12 months.

Lace bases can be attached in several ways;

Full Head Bond - using adhesives like Eurp Bond and Dermatex, 1+ coats are applied to the entire head. Clean with Matrix Lace Cleaner, Rapid Release or a citrus-based solvent remover.

Tape - either Bonding Tape (Walker No Shine, Super Tape or Euro Flex) can be applied around the perimeter for a 7+ day secure attachment. Clean with Lace Release.
