Full Head Bonding
We offer 4 OUTSTANDING FHB adhesives. Dermatex (co-polymer), Transdermal (non-Latex), Walker's Safe Grip and the Euro #7 are perfect for Full Head Bonding lace & skin graft bases, as well as combo bases (i.e. lace & skin). Not recommended for attaching mesh bases, as the mesh pores will clog up.
NOTE: Hold time is different for everyone. Some wearers get 1 week and some get 6 weeks. I only get 2 weeks, regardless of the time of year. (But, it's a great 2 undetectable weeks!)
NOTE: For safety purposes, always perform a skin test with any adhesive that you are using for the first time. This will verify whether your skin will or will not have an allergic reaction to the adhesive.
Directions:
1.) Prepare the head by shaving any stray hairs. Wash hair and prep the head w/ either Euro Mudd or Exfoliating Scrub.
2.) Place hair system on your head (NO adhesive yet), align perfectly and mark the frontal hairline with either 3M clear tape or small dots.
3.) Apply 1 - 3 thin coats of the FHB adhesive to your head, being sure to allow EACH coat to completely dry clear before applying the next coat. DON'T touch it with your fingers because they contain oil. The more coats, the more holding time. (It's OK to apply an optional coat to the underside of a skin base, BUT not a lace base.)
4.) After the final coat has completely dried clear, apply the system starting with the frontal hairline and working towards the back, taking great care to not getting your fingers or hair stuck in the adhesive.
5.) Place a towel over your head and press down firmly on all areas. Don't put your fingers on your hair.
6.) Spray a little water or leave-in conditioner into the hair, gently style and DON'T shampoo it for 24 hours.
